Mission Possible (B)
The task list will need to be turned in early.
Details on how to submit are posted below.
The Sequence Task List (TSL) must be submitted in Word,
Excel, or PDF format (any version of the software) to
roydeshon@hotmail.com prior to 11:59 PM on April 6, 2012. This is a week
prior to the tournament. If multiple copies are received, the judges will take
no responsibility for ensuring the intended version is used to score the device.
When the TSL is received, an acknowledgement message will be sent to the mailing
address. If this acknowledgement is not received by 1:00 PM on Sunday April 8,
2012, call (816) 304-4486 to make special arrangements to receive your list.
If a team cannot email the TSL, a copy of the TSL may be faxed to (425)
969-2686. If an email address is included with the TSL, an acknowledgement
message will be sent.
Be aware that the TSL has a very specific format to follow. By rule, most task
points cannot be awarded unless the TSL is in the proper format, even for a
correctly functioning device.
The Ideal Operation Time will be a specific time to within one tenth of a
second, which will be the same for all teams. The Ideal Operation Time will be
between 60.0 and 90.0 seconds (inclusive). The Ideal Operation Time will be
announced and available to teams upon impounding of their device.
All devices must be impounded no earlier than 08:00 and no later than 09:00 on
April 14, 2012. At least one team member must be present to impound the device.
Non-team members (including adults) may assist in transporting the device into
the impound area and into the judging area at the appropriate time. All items to
be used in the device or to prepare or repair the device must be impounded with
the device. If other material is required during set-up, talk to the Event
Judge.
